Earl joined the Invisible Spies for sessions and live dates with Toah Dynamic, Supreme Vagabond Craftsman and the short lived Wild 500. Earl has thundered behind several kits in the past, most notably with Bolt Thrower whom he recorded the album "Mercenary" in 1999. This brief spell with Britain's premier "War Metal" veterans culminated in an extensive European tour "In a world of compromise some don't." Opting for departure rather than compromise, Earl moved to Groop Dogdrill, seeing out the final days of Yorkshire's much missed toughest band. This lead to a tour with band "Three Stages Of Pain". Enjoying his liberty from touring commitments Earl decided to dedicate himself to a full Invisible Spies release and commenced recording in shadowy unchristianised territories barely touched by civilisation. Earls debut "Two Rooms Full Of Insects" was delivered to us song by song after weeks of Olympian blast marathons and drop tuned riffs of incomparable blackness. The resulting album "Two Rooms Full Of Insects" sounds like you and your bride are escorted down the aisle in separate coffins by hollow faced Gyps. It features 13 tracks of entire cemetery desecrating metal, complimented by the kind of rhythmic complexity and inexplicable changes characteristic of the most forbidden progressive rock albums of yore. The live shows are incorporating the talents of a black metal fixated teenage brother and sister combo, the female half of which will be handed Earl's sticks as he takes over guitar and vocal.
He has been drumming for Badly Drawn Boy over
the last few years and Earl is currently working
on the second album follow up to “Two
